Stand Up Paddleboards ("SUPs") are among the fastest growing markets in watersports. SUPs are basically oversized surf boards that are wider for greater stability. The average SUP is designed to carry one person weighing up to 250 lbs. Larger and smaller capacity SUPs are available.

Types of Paddleboards

SUPs come in a variety of designs for different activities. Just as there are touring kayaks, there are expedition SUPs that are designed to travel faster for longer journeys.

There are extra large SUPs for Yoga, smaller SUPs for kids, and hybrids that allow for sitting, like a kayak.
