Refund Policies

WATERSPORTS PRODUCTS

Our refund and returns policy lasts 30 days on watersports products. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, we cannot offer you a full refund or exchange. “Watersports” includes such items as towable tubes, life jackets, water skis, wakeboards, wakesurf, kneeboards, apparel, tow ropes and other watersports related accessories.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused, in the same condition that you received it, and in its original packaging. Watersports products that have been in water are not eligible for refund.

PADDLESPORTS PRODUCTS

Our refund and returns policy lasts 30 days on paddlesports products. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, we cannot offer you a full refund or exchange. “Paddlesports” includes related accessories for paddleboard and kayak, but not kayaks and paddleboards themselves (see next section below).

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused, in the same condition that you received it, and in its original packaging.

KAYAKS & PADDLEBOARDS

Kayaks and paddleboards are expensive large commodities that depreciate in value with any type of visible scratches. It is practically impossible to transport and use these commodities and keep them showroom perfect. For this reason kayaks and paddleboards are not refundable once they leave Pedals & Paddles’ property. On rare occassions, exceptions may be made, at the sole discretion of Pedals & Paddles, if the commodity truly is still “showroom perfect” with no visible scratches, still has its factory tags, and has not been in the water.

If within 30 days the kayak or paddleboard has been proven to be truly defective in a significant way that was not a result of misuse, Pedals & Paddles will make every possible effort to work with the customer and the manufacturer to resolve a no-cost warranty solution.

BICYCLES & E-BIKES

Like purchasing a car a driving it off the lot, bicycles and E-Bikes are expensive commodities that depreciate in value with any use (scratches, mileage, etc). It is practically impossible to transport and use these commodities and keep them showroom perfect. For this reason bicycles and E-Bikes are not refundable once they leave Pedals & Paddles’ property. On rare occassions, exceptions may be made, at the sole discretion of Pedals & Paddles, if the commodity truly is still “showroom perfect” with no visible scratches, still has its factory tags, and has no extra mileage on it.

If within 30 days the bicycle or E-Bike has been proven to be truly defective in a significant way that was not a result of misuse, Pedals & Paddles will make every possible effort to work with the customer and the manufacturer to resolve a no-cost warranty solution.

CYCLING ACCESSORIES

Our refund and returns policy lasts 30 days on cycling related accessories. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, we cannot offer you a full refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused, in the same condition that you received it, and in its original packaging.

OTHER PRODUCTS

For the remaining general sporting goods items that we sell, that are not listed above, our refund and returns policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, we cannot offer you a full refund or exchange.

NON-REFUNDABLE ITEMS

Some types of goods are exempt from being returned. Perishable goods such as food cannot be returned. We also do not accept products that are hazardous materials (e.g. batteries), or flammable liquids or gases (e.g. CO2 cartridges, aerosol lubricants, etc).

Additional non-returnable items:

  • Gift cards
  • Items On Sale and/or sold as part of a Sale promotion
  • Pre-owned items, such as used bicycles and kayaks, sold “as is”
  • Any watersports item that has been used in the water
Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days. Note that it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund to your account.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted:

  • Items in non-original packaging materials.
  • Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
  • Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery.
  • Ultimately, Pedals & Paddles, at its sole discretion, will determine the eligibility of all refunds.

Late or missing refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it can take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at info@pedals-paddles.com.

Shipping returns

To return your product, you should mail your product to: Pedals & Paddles, 105 E Esterbrook Dr, North Webster, IN 46555.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.

If you are returning more expensive items, you may consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We do not guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
